Babies ... my favorite part!

I love designing work for babies! LOVE IT! Shower invitations, birth announcements, baptism invitations, first birthday parties, I love all of it! My boys are growing by the day, quite possibly the minute, so whenever I get the opportunity to spend some time with a new baby, be it in person or by working on a project, I relish it. Here are some samples of "my" babies!

This is actually my son's birth announcement. It's so hard to believe almost two years has already passed!

Here is my youngest son's first birthday invitation! I painted the backdrop, painted the "1" he's holding, took the picture, edited the picture, and made the invitation. This is one of my absolute favorites!

This little guy belongs to a very dear friend, and I loved going to see him to do a little photo shoot! I think he was just about a week or so old when this picture was taken.

Ok, now, as the mom of boys, I LOVE when I get to spend some time with a baby girl. They're just so .... different than what I'm used to. This little lady was about two weeks old when I spent a couple hours with her and her mom, just snapping the pictures away. I think she may have a future in modeling.

If you're pregnant, planning to become pregnant, know someone who is pregnant ... please, consider allowing me to create a unique announcement or invitation to celebrate your special event. I can come to your home (or possibly even the hospital) to do a personal photo shoot for you and your new little one. I'm not a professional photographer; I just love taking pictures of babies and creating pieces with the pictures I've taken. I can also order professionally printed photos for you if you choose. If you'd prefer for me to use a photo you've taken, I just ask that you keep the image at it's fullest, un-edited size.

I look forward to adding more babies to this page, so please, think of me when you're planning your next baby-related event!

~Dawn

*All babies names have been changed, at least partially. I would never publicly post your baby's full name.

New Adventures

I've been meaning to post this blog for quite some time now, but never felt the urgency to do so. Well, the past few days has changed all that. I've come to realize that I need to fully pursue my passion, so I'm now taking steps toward doing so.
For the past couple years, I've been designing birth announcements, birthday invitations, thank you notes, etc. Now I will officially be doing it! I'm excited about the possibilities!
